Note: Ammanati was an influential Mannerist artist in the mid-16th century. He traveled in north and central Italy and incorporated developments there into his style. He is perhaps best known for having created the Fountain of Juno and the Fountain of Neptune and the courtyard of the Palazzo Pitti in Florence. Italian sculptor and architect. |
