Ballin, Hugo (American painter and filmmaker, 1879-1956)
|
Note: Ballin painted a mural in the Wisconsin state capitol building in Madison in 1913. He moved to Los Angeles in 1921 where he worked as a director, producer, and art director in silent films. Ballin wrote four novels, and designed the commemorative medallion for the 1932 Olympics. He resumed painting in the late 1920s. American artist.
