Beggarstaff Brothers (British painters, illustrators, and poster designers, active 1893-1899)
|
Note: Pseudonym adopted by brothers-in-law William Nicholson and James Pryde while collaborating in the 1890s as poster artists. Their influential and striking poster designs are noted for their simplified silhouettes and flat colors; the designs were a significant contribution to international Art Nouveau although they maintain their English style as well. |
