Coppola, Horacio (Argentine photographer, 1906-2012)

Note: Coppola started work as a photographer in 1928. After travelling in France, Spain, and Italy from 1930 to 1932, he attended the Bauhaus school in Berlin as a student of photographer Walter Peterhans from 1932 to 1933. In 1933, Coppola began to make films. He moved to London, with photographer Grete Stern. The two married in 1936. In 1936, Coppola and Stern moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where in 1937, they set up a studio for advertising and photography. They ran the studio until 1947.
