Peabody, Henry G. (American photographer and publisher, 1855-1951)

Note: Peabody was a partner with J. A. French in the photographic firm Peabody & French, around 1875. The firm issued a series of stereographs of interiors at Dartmouth College. From 1886 to 1901, Peabody worked in Boston, Massachusetts as a professional photographer. At this time he was also the official photographer for the Boston and Maine Railroad, while at the same time photographing for the Detroit Publishing Company. In 1900, Peabody moved to California and until ca. 1925, he traveled, photographed and lectured on photography.
