Heilmann, Jean-Jacques (French photographer, 1822-1859)
|
Note: Heilmann was probably born in Mulhouse in the Alsace region of France, and he photographed in Alsace before moving to Pau in the Pyrénées region. In 1853, Heilmann invented an apparatus for enlarging and reducing negatives. In 1854, Heilmann was a founding member of the Société Française de Photographie, Paris. |
