Note: Born 10 May 1921. From 1940, Marco has been a self-taught photographer. From 1941 to 1944, Marco worked as a reporter and photographer for Jan Mikota's news and advertising agency, Prague. From 1945 to 1948, Marco worked as a photoreporter for the Czech Ministry of Information, and also for magazines. He also worked for the Prague Press Agency and the Agence France Presse, Prague . From 1948, Marco has worked as a freelance photographer for news agencies such as Pix and Black Star, as well as for magazines including Life and Picture Post. |
