Mourão, Noemia (Brazilian painter, costume designer, and scenographer, 1912-1992)
|
Note: She studied with Di Cavalcanti, in 1932, with whom she married the following year. From 1935 to 1940, she lived in Paris, France, and attended the Académie Ranson and Académie de La Grande Chaumière and studied philosophy and history of art at the Sorbonne. She worked as an illustrator for the newspapers Le Monde and Paris Soir. Back to Brazil, she studied sculpture with Victor Brecheret. |
