Giannini and Hilgart (American glass stainers, established 1899)
|
Note: The glass staining firm of Giannini and Hilgart was formed in Chicago in 1899 by Orlando Giannini and Fritz Hilgart. Giannini designed the glass and Hilgart provided technical expertise. The firm collaborated with Frank Lloyd Wright on such houses as the Frank Thomas House in Chicago (1901) and the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, New York (1904). Giannini and Hilgart published the book 'Ornamental Glass and Glass Mosaic' in 1910. |
