Note: A German family of illuminators and print publishers active in Nuremberg during the 15th century. Georg Glockendon the Elder was the son of the woodcutter Albrecht Glockendon the Elder; Georg in turn had had two sons, Albrecht the Younger and Nikolaus. Nikolaus had 12 sons (including Gabriel, Georg II, Jakob, Nikolaus, Sebastian and Wolf) who were also artists. |
