Stěpánek, Josef (Czech architect and sculptor, 1889-1964)
|
Note: Prague architect and sculptor studied with Kotěra at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts. He competed for many architectural projects in the 1920s and 1930s, and earned prizes, but only a few of his designs were built. Important projects include the Ke Klimentce villa, Prague, a power station and village in Háj, and the Pelikán Villa in Olomouc. He was a member of the Mánes Association of Plastic Artists, and contributed to the magazine Stavitel. Czechoslovak architect. |
