Beere, Daniel Manders (Irish photographer and engineer, 1833-1909, active in Canada and New Zealand)
|
Note: Circa 1851, Beere formed the firm Armstrong & Beere with William Armstrong. The Toronto firm of photographers, engineers and draughtsmen hired Humphrey Lloyd Hime in 1856 and made him a partner in 1857 when the firm changed its name to Armstrong, Beere & Hime. Beere left the firm for New Zealand in 1863 and Hime left probably in 1864 to pursue a career in business. From 1863 to 1880s, Beere worked as an engineer for the Auckland Provincial Council, Auckland, New Zealand. |
