Boucher, Pierre (French photographer and designer, born 1908)

Note: Born 29 February 1908. From 1928 to 1930, and 1939 to 1940, Boucher served as a photographer in the French Air Force in Morocco. From 1930, Boucher worked as a freelance designer, advertising photographer and photo-muralist in Paris. From 1934 to 1939, Boucher produced photo-documentation on Spain. In 1935, Boucher was a founding member of the Alliance-Photo agency, Paris. In 1945, Boucher created the Agence de documentations et d'éditions photographiques (ADEP) and also set up a publicity studio in Paris. From 1957 to 1972, Boucher was the founder and artistic director of the Multiphoto agency, Paris.
