Barry, Charles, the younger (English architect, 1823-1900)
|
Note: He trained in his father's office. He set up practice ca. 1847 and went into partnership with Robert R. Banks. Appointed architect and surveyor to the Dulwich Estate in 1858. Became Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1846, Fellow in 1854. He was President of the RIBA from 1876 to 1879 and was Royal Gold Medallist in 1877. |
