Ginzburg, Moisey (Belarusian architect, urban planner, and teacher, 1892-1946)

Note: Ginzburg graduated from the Academy of Arts in Milan in 1914, and went on to receive an engineering degree from the Rizhsky Polytechnic in Moscow in 1917. He was in private practice in the Crimea from 1918-1921, and later a Professor of history and theory of architecture at VKhUTEMAS in Moscow from 1923-1930. Ginzburg also taught at the Moscow Institute of Higher Technology from 1923. He was a founding member, with Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Vesnin, of the Association of Contemporary Architects (OSA) in 1925, and the Editor of "Arkhitektura", the journal of the Moscow Architectural Society, beginning in 1923. Ginzburg was also the founder and editor, with Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Vesnin, of "Sovremennaia arkhitektura", the journal of the OSA (1926-1930). Russian architect.
