Note: Ţāq-e Bustān is situated four miles northeast of Kermānshāh. Two of the three Sassanian (226-651CE) carvings at the site date to the 4th century CE and the third from the 6th century CE. The older reliefs are of Shapur II (reg 309-79) and his son, Shapur III (reg 383-8). The last one probably a depiction of the last Sassanian king, Chosroes II Parviz (reigned 590-628). |
