Note: The river Bosut flows for most of its length through Croatia, where it is one of the dominant rivers flowing through the eastern part of the rich plain of Slavonia. A small part lies in Serbia and Montenegro. Archaeological remains of Neolithic settlements have been found along it banks near the historic town of Vinkovci in Croatia.
