Note: 1.4 million hectacre park and preserve covering portions of the Jambi, Bengkulu, Sumatera Selatan, and Sumatera Barat; home to a diverse ethnic population including the Minang, Kerinci, Rejang, Javanese, Batak, and Kubu; protects waterways which feed into Jambi and protects evergreen forests which are home to species such as the Sumatran Tiger and a rich population of endangered birds. One of three parks which comprise the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra. |
