Note: Tethys lies in a path that was once crowded with debris from collisions between other moons, and therefore its icy surface is heavily cratered. There is also an enormous trench on Tethys, named Ithaca Chasma, that is approximately 65 kilometers (40 miles) wide, and covers three-fourths of Tethys' circumference.
