Note: Via Clodia was a road running north from Rome, through south-western Etruria via the west side of lake of Bracciano and Etruscan towns such as Blera, Norchia, Tuscania as far as Saturnia. Incorporating many stretches of older Etruscan roads, it was probably laid out as a middle distance route in the first half of the 3rd century BCE.
