Note: Located six miles south of Nottingham on the Fairham Brook, a small stream flowing through low-lying fields at the foot of the Derbyshire Wolds. The church, sometimes called the Cathedral of the Wolds, dates mostly from the 14th century although it probably stands on the site of an earlier church.
