Note: Settlement mound northeast of Babylon. It was occupied during the Ubaid period; flourished during the Jemdet Nasr and Uruk periods. Some Early Dynastic graves and Akkadian and Babylonian artifacts indicate the location continued in limited use through the time of Nebuchadnezzar.
