Note: Preserved Punic town located on Cape Bon, in northeastern Tunisia. It was founded in the 7th century BCE, and abandoned by 150 BCE, after having been destroyed in 256 by the Roman Regulus. The city, together with its necropolis, have been designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
