Note: The British provinces of Rome were restructured again either by Diocletian (ca. 296) or by Constantine (ca. 312); the existing provinces were each split into two. Britannia Inferior in northern Britain became Britannia Secunda and Flavia Caesariensis. Britannia Secunda was governed from York.
