Note: Site found in a deep hole in the bed of the Aucilla River between Jefferson and Taylor counties, Florida, containing stratified deposits of late Pleistocene and early Holocene animal bones and human artifacts reaching back to about 14,500 to 12,500 years before the present, some dating to 1,000 and 1,500 years before the Clovis culture.
