Note: Located on the River Severn at Barrow near Ironbridge. Documented when Aethelraed, ealdorman of Mercia, and his wife Aethelflaed gave property to the church of Wenlock in 901. Site of Caughley Pottery where Caughley Porcelain was made in the late 18th century. Caughley Hall, documented in 1609, was located here.
