Het wordt geverfd met de kleurstof indigo en bedekt met symbolen, waaronder nsibidi. Meestal wordt het gedragen als een omslagdoek en het dragen ervan is het hoogste voorrecht bij Ekpe. |
Spanish ..... Paño ritual africano asociado con la organización de varones conocida como Ekpe y que se encuentra entre los Igbo y otros pueblos de la región del río Cross en el sur de Nigeria. Teñido con índigo y cubierto con símbolos, incluyendo nsibidi, es vestido habitualmente como manto y es prerrogativa de los Ekpe de más alto grado.
