Record Type: concept
adenosine triphosphate (compounds (materials), <materials by chemical form>, ... Materials (hierarchy name))

Note: Adenosine triphosphate is an energy-carrying chemical found in the cells of all living things. It is a nucleotide composed of ribose, adenine, and a triphosphate group. ATP captures chemical energy obtained from the breakdown of food molecules and releases it to fuel other cellular processes such as biosynthesis, ion transport, and muscle contraction.

Terms:
adenosine triphosphate (preferred,C,U,English-P,D,U,U)
triphosphate, adenosine (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
ATP (C,U,A,English,UF,U,U)
adenosinetrifosfaat (C,U,Dutch-P,D,U,U)

Additional Notes:
Dutch .....
