Dutch ..... Verwijst naar een type glas waarbij gekleurd glas is vermengd met wit glas, resulterend in een opaalglans die aan wolken doet denken. Deze techniek wordt vaak gebruikt bij de vervaardiging van siervaten. Gewolkt glas lijkt op #'reamy glas' en op 'Clutha-glas', dat eveneens 'gewolkt glas' betekent. |
Spanish ..... Se refiere a un tipo de vidrio en el cual el vidrio de color es mezclado con vidrio blanco para crear un efecto opalescente que semeja nubes. Se utiliza a menudo en vasos decorativos. Es similar en apariencia al "vidrio engastado" y al "vidrio clutha," que quiere decir justamente "vidrio nuboso."
