| Dutch ..... Voorwerpen met een smeedijzeren standaard, vaak versierd, en daarboven een horizontale, platte ring met een veer waar iets in vast kan worden geklemd. Ze zouden oorspronkelijk bedoeld kunnen zijn voor een toorts of flambouw in plaats van een kaars. |

Vorrichtung mit einem schmiedeeisernen Ständer und meist verziertem Halter, an dem waagerecht ein flacher Ring und eine Feder angebracht sind, um das, was in den Ring gesteckt wird, festzuklemmen. Möglicherweise ursprünglich dafür gedacht, eine Fackel zu halten, anstelle einer gewöhnlichen Kerze. |
