Note: Zitherlike chordophones of Madagascar, varying regionally in form. The most common type is of bamboo with from seven to twenty strings raised at both ends by small bridges; the strings, traditionally cut from the outer layer of the bamboo, are nowadays of metal. They are plucked with the fingers while held in an upright position. For similar chordophones from Timor, use "sesandos." |

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指類似齊特琴的馬達加斯加弦鳴樂器,類型則依地區而異,最常見的種類由竹子製成,具有七根至二十根不等的琴弦,由兩尾端的小型琴橋立起。傳統的琴弦製法為切自竹子的外層,現今則改以金屬製成。由演奏者垂直持琴,並以手指彈撥演奏。類似竹管琴的若指帝汶(Timor)弦鳴樂器,則為「塞桑杜琴 」(sesandos)」。 |
Dutch ..... Snaarinstrumenten, per streek verschillend van vorm, bamboe, 7-20 snaren, uit de buitenste laag van de bamboe gesneden, ook van metaal; snaren worden aan beide uiteinden omhoog geduwd met kleine kammetjes; bespeeld door met de vingers te tokkelen; Madagaskar. Gebruik: 'sesando's' voor gelijksoortige snaarinstrumenten uit Timor. |
German ..... Zitherinstrument aus Madagaskar, regional unterschiedlich in der Form. Der gängigste Typ ist aus Bambus mit zwischen sieben und 20 Saiten, an beiden Enden durch kleine Stege angehoben; die Saiten, traditionell aus der äußeren Schale des Bambus geschnitten, sind heute aus Metall. Das Instrument wird mit den Fingern gezupft, während es in einer aufrechten Position gehalten wird. Für ähnliche Chordofone aus Timor siehe ["Sesando"](3002224283). |
Spanish ..... Cordófonos tipo cítara de Madagascar de diferentes formas según la región. El tipo más comun es de bambú con siete a veinte cuerdas levantadas en ambos extremos por unos pequeños puentes; las cuerdas, tradicionalmente recortadas de la capa exterior del bambú, son de metal en nuestros días. Se puntean con los dedos mientras se sostienen en posición vertical. Para cordófonos similares de Timor, use "sesando”. |
