Note: Small bedroom tables, often of trestle form, with deeply rimmed tops and sometimes one or more shelves designed to hold the contents of a man's pockets when he undresses. First made in France in the 1720s and popular there and in England in the late 18th century.

Additional Notes:
Chinese (traditional) ..... 置於臥室的小桌,形式多為擱板桌,桌緣具高度,部份具有一至多個擱架,可供男士更衣時放置口袋內的物品。最早在西元1820年代於法國製造並風行,十八世紀晚期亦流行於英國。 
Dutch ..... Kleine slaapkamertafels, vaak geschraagd, met een tafelblad met brede rand en soms één of meerdere planken, waar een man de inhoud van zijn zakken op kan legen wanneer hij zich uitkleedt. Ze werden voor het eerst gemaakt in Frankrijk, rond 1720, en werden tegen het einde van de 18e eeuw eveneens populair in Frankrijk. 
Spanish ..... Pequeñas mesas de dormitorio, a menudo en forma de caballete, con el tablero rodeado de un cerco alto y algunas veces una o más repisas diseñadas para guardar los contenidos de los bolsillos de hombre cuando se desviste. Fabricado por primera vez en Francia en los años 1720 y popular allá y en Inglaterra a fines del siglo XVIII.
