| Dutch ..... Aanduiding voor namen, symbolen, figuren, letters, woorden of andere tekens die door een fabrikant of een handelaar worden gekozen en gebruikt om zijn goederen in de handel te brengen en ze te onderscheiden van die van anderen. Meestal staan ze geregistreerd bij een overheidsinstantie waardoor de exclusiviteit van het teken wordt gewaarborgd en de eigenaar ervan de enige is die het mag voeren. Gebruik 'dienstmerken' voor soortgelijke figuren waarmee diensten in plaats van producten worden onderscheiden. Gebruik 'woordmerken' of 'logo's' voor grafische figuren die zijn afgeleid van handelsmerken. |
