| Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor kleine, discreet verborgen maar niet geheime privé-tuinen die zijn aangelegd in de nabijheid van een woning en fungeren als een plaats voor intieme ontvangsten of overpeinzingen ver van de blikken van buitenstaanders. De term verwijst in de eerste plaats naar privé-tuinen die bij Italiaanse Renaissance-villa's horen, maar kan ook in andere contexten worden gebruikt. |

Kleiner, privater Garten, wie er vor allem, aber nicht ausschließlich zur Anlage zahlreicher italienischer Renaissancevillen gehörte - ein wenig verborgen, aber nicht geheim, in der Nähe des Hauptgebäudes: ein Ort zur Unterhaltung vertrauter Personen oder für die Kontemplation abseits des öffentlichen Betriebs. |
| Spanish ..... Úsese para designar un jardín pequeño y privado, aunque no restringido. Son aquéllos que se encuentran acompañando las villas renacentistas italianas, discretamente escondidos pero no secretos, situados cerca de la casa y diseñados como lugares íntimos para el entretenimiento y la reflexión introspectiva lejos de la mirada pública. |
