| Chinese (traditional) ..... 非洲的一種戴在手腕上的武器，為了近距離格鬥而設計，通常是由中央有洞和溝槽的金屬碟所構成，以便套在使用者的手腕上。其外側邊緣磨利如刀刃，或帶有一個或多個的凸出物，以便打擊或砍擊對手。手環鞘則可套在兩側邊緣處。搏鬥手環主要用於實際和儀式性的戰鬥上，佩帶用途則為象徵男子氣概或地位，或者作為裝飾品。 |
| Dutch ..... Afrikaanse wapens bestaande uit een metalen schijf met een gat in het midden en een inkeping zodat die over de vuist kan worden geplaatst. De randen van de schijf zijn scherp gemaakt of voorzien van uitsteksels om daarmee de tegenstander te slaan of te steken; soms met schedes aan beide zijden. Ook ceremonieel toegepast en gedragen als teken van mannelijkheid of status, of als versiering. |

Armas africanas usadas en las muñecas y diseñadas para combates cerrados, consistentes generalmente en un disco de metal con un agujero en el centro y una abertura para poder deslizarlas sobre la muñeca, con el lado externo ya sea afilado como una hoja de cuchillo o provisto de una o más puntas para golpear o tajear al enemigo; pueden llevar fundas en ambos filos.
