Note: Pavilions in which winding grooves were chiseled into the stone slab flooring; flowing water was then diverted into the grooves. Guests invited to a banquet would place wooden or extremely thin chinaware cups of wine in the water and allow them to flow along the grooves. The person in front of whom a cup stopped would drink the wine and compose an impromptu poem.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Paviljoens waarin kronkelende groeven werden uitgesneden in de stenen vloer. Er werd stromend water in de groeven geleid. Gasten bij een banket zetten houten of zeer dunne porseleinen kopjes met wijn in het water en lieten ze door de groeven stromen. Degene bij wie een kopje stopte, dronk de wijn op en maakte ter plekke een gedicht.
