Note: Maori pounamu stone that is paler than other varieties, often of a pearly-white or gray-green nephrite, ranging from translucent to opaque. It can change color over time, developing a light-olive tint as it ages and oxidizes.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Pounamu-steensoort (een woord uit het Maori) die lichter van kleur is dan andere varianten, vaak van parelwit of grijsgroen nefriet en variërend van doorschijnend tot geheel ondoorzichtig. Het kan na verloop van tijd verkleuren; naarmate het ouder wordt en oxideert neemt het een licht olijfgroene tint aan.
