| Dutch ..... Dichtgeweven linnen stof in effenbinding die voor het eerst werd vervaardigd in Nederland; term in deze betekenis gebruikt in de 18de en het begin van de 19de eeuw. Gedurende de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw werd de term ook gebruikt voor een glanzende, gesteven katoenen stof die veel werd gebruikt voor overgordijnen. Geen Nederlands equivalent. | Spanish ..... Utilizado en el siglo XVIII y comienzos del XIX para designar un tabí de lino tejido a telar muy apretado, fabricado inicialmente en Holanda. A mediados y fines del siglo XIX, también se utilizó para un paño de algodón muy almidonado, utilizado en general para cenefas de ventanas.
