| Chinese (traditional) ..... 印度南方的傳統音樂所用的鼓，外型為細長的桶狀，兩端鼓面直徑不等長，鼓皮固定於鼓框上，並以帶子與鼓身相繫。利用張力楔和塗於鼓面的發音膏糊調音，將較大的左鼓面比右鼓面低一個八度。 |
| Dutch ..... Trommen met een uitgerekte tonvorm, met twee trommelvellen van verschillende diameter die aan een ring zijn bevestigd en op de klankkast vastgeregen. De trommelvellen worden gestemd met behulp van stelwiggen en het aanbrengen van pasta op de vellen, waarbij het grotere linkervel een octaaf lager wordt gestemd dan het rechter, uit Zuid India. |
| German ..... Klassische Trommel aus Südindien mit einer länglichen Fassform und zwei Fellen unterschiedlichen Durchmessers, die an Reifen befestigt und mit dem Korpus zusammengebunden sind. Die Felle werden durch Spannkeile und das Auftragen einer Paste auf die Membran gestimmt; die größere, linke Membran wird eine Oktave unter der rechten gestimmt. |
| Spanish ..... Tambores clásicos del sur de la India, en forma de un barril alargado con dos cabezas de diferentes diámetros, sujetas a aros y amarradas al cuerpo. Las parches se afinan mediante tornillos de tensión y la aplicación de pegamento a las membranas, el más grande, el izquierdo, afinándose una octava más abajo que el derecho. |
