Note: A white, granular, water-insoluble powder, AgCl that darkens upon exposure to light produced by the reaction of silver nitrate with a chloride. It was used chiefly in the manufacture of photographic emulsions and antiseptic silver preparations from about 1895-1900.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 化學式為AgCl，呈白色顆粒狀、不溶於水的粉末，由硝酸銀和氯化物相互作用而成，暴露於光下顏色會變深。西元1895年至1900年起，主要用於製造感光乳劑及配製抗菌銀。 |
| Dutch ..... Een wit, granulair, niet in water oplosbaar poeder (AgCI), dat donkerder wordt bij blootstelling aan licht, het resultaat van een reactie van zilvernitraat en een chloride. Het werd hoofdzakelijk gebruikt bij de vervaardiging van fotografische emulsies en antiseptische zilverpreparaten vanaf circa 1895-1900. |
| Spanish ..... Polvo blanco granulado insoluble en agua, AgCl, que se oscurece al exponerse a la luz por reacción del nitrato de plata con un cloruro. Se utilizó fundamentalmente en la fabricación de emulsiones fotográficas y preparaciones antisépticas de plata desde aproximadamente 1895-1900.
