Note: Small organs housed in a compact, furniture-quality wood cabinet, usually with one manual and no pedal keys, the wind being pumped into the pipes by the player's foot. Popular for domestic use in Europe and North America from the 17th to the 19th century, they were often made to resemble other pieces of furniture, such as tables, bureaus, and desks. |

Kleine Orgel, in einem kompakten, möbelartigen Holzschrank untergebracht, gewöhnlich mit einem Manual und ohne Pedaltaste, wobei der Wind durch die Fußbewegungen des Spielers in die Pfeifen gepumpt wird. Populär für den Hausgebrauch in Europa und Amerika vom 17. bis zum 19. Jahrhundert, wurden Kammerorgeln oft so gefertigt, dass sie anderen Möbelstücken wie Tischen, Sekretären oder Pulten ähnelten. |
