Dutch ..... Open helmen, meestal uit één stuk gesmeed, aanvankelijk met een ogivaalvormige, later met een ronde helmkap die ter bescherming doorliep tot de wangen, met een kleine opening voor het gezicht. Ze werden gebruikt van halverwege de 14e tot aan het eind van de 15e eeuw. |
German ..... Offener, gewöhnlich in einem Stück geschmiedeter Helm, der zunächst eine spitzbogig geformte, später gerundete Helmglocke besitzt, die sich nach unten ausdehnt, um die Wangen zu schützen, und eine kleine Gesichtsöffnung freilässt. Er war von der Mitte des 14. bis zum späten 15. Jahrhundert im Gebrauch. |
Spanish ..... Yelmo abierto, generalmente forjado en una única pieza, que en un principio tenía un casco en forma ogival, y, más tarde redondeada; se extiende hacia abajo para proteger las mejillas, dejando una pequeña abertura para la cara. Estuvieron en uso desde mediados del siglo XIV hasta finales del siglo XV. |
