Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl die in verband wordt gebracht met het eiland Sumba. La producción textil en esta región refleja influencias de Sumatra e Indias y presenta grandes mantos conocidos como estampado hinggi en urdimbre ikat, elementos de diseño de patola indios, y sarongs ceremoniales que despliegan patrones de urdimbre. Los motivos regionales populares en textil incluyen figuras humanas, caballos, ciervos, serpientes y leones. Los colores significan distinción de clase con tinte rojo turco que es el más lujoso y raro.
