Note: Vegetable-tanned leather made originally of shaved cowhide, later of calfskin, goatskin, sheepskin or horse hide, tanned with willow and other types of bark, then curried on the flesh side with birch bark extract to give it a pleasant but relatively short-lived odor in imitation of Russia calf. Its uses included for upholstery and for binding blank books.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 原本為由植物鞣製、修刮過的母牛皮革，之後再由小牛皮、山羊皮、綿羊皮或馬皮革製成，以柳樹或其他種類的樹皮鞣製，接著再以樺樹皮萃取物鞣製肉面層以增加舒適感；此皮革為仿製俄羅斯小牛皮，但氣味的持續時間相對而言較短。其用途包括室內裝潢品，以及用來裝訂空白簿冊。 |

Cuero curtido con vegetales fabricado originalmente con cuero de vaca afeitado, después con cuero de becerro, cabra, ovino o caballo, curtido con sauce y otros tipos de corteza y después adobado en el lado de la carne con corteza de abedul para darle un olor agradable pero relativamente fugaz, imitando el becerro de Rusia. Se utiliza en mobiliario y para encuadernar libros en blanco.
