Dutch ..... Harnas voor de dijbenen, meestal onderaan bevestigd aan de knieplaten. Geïntroduceerd in de 14e eeuw, waarna ze zich ontwikkelden van enkele platen die de voorkant van het dijbeen bedekten tot gelaagde harnasplaatjes die het hele dijbeen bedekten. 
Spanish ..... Placa de armadura para los muslos, generalmente atada a las rodilleras en su parte final inferior. Fue introducido durante el siglo XIV, evolucionando desde una placa simple que cubría la parte delantera de los muslos hasta láminas articuladas que circundaban el muslo por entero.
