Record Type: concept
tetraethylene glycol (polyethylene glycol, polymers, ... Materials (hierarchy name))

Note: A polyethylene glycol in the form of an odourless and non volatile hygroscopic liquid characterised by two hydroxyl groups and three ether linkages. It is a mixture comprising some high and low molecular weight glycols, but consisting mainly of tetraglycol. It has been used in conservation to stabilize waterlogged archaeological wooden objects.

Terms:
tetraethylene glycol (preferred,C,U,English-P,D,U,U)
glycol, tetraethylene (C,U,English,UF,U,U)
TEG (tetraethylene glycol) (C,U,A,English,UF,U,U)
tetraethyleenglycol (C,U,Dutch-P,D,U,U)

Additional Notes:
Dutch .....
