Note: Ceramic ware produced by the Kirkcaldy pottery of David Methven and Sons, decorated in an imitation of Wemyss ware. The Kirkcaldy pottery is near the Fife Pottery which produced Wemyss ware. Abbotsford ware may indeed have been decorated by artists from the Fife Pottery.

| Dutch ..... Aardewerk dat is geproduceerd door de Kirkcaldy-pottenbakkerij van David Methven en zoons en in nabootsing van Wemyss-aardewerk versierd is. Deze pottenbakkerij ligt dicht bij de Fife-pottenbakkerij die het Wemyss-aardewerk produceerde. Het is mogelijk dat Abbotsford-aardewerk soms ook beschilderd is door pottenbakkers uit Fife. |
