Het grootste type terrine, dat oorspronkelijk zou zijn gebruikt voor het opdienen van een bepaalde Spaanse stoofschotel, meestal rond van vorm, op pootjes of een voetstuk gezet, voorzien van twee handvatten en een deksel, en gewoonlijk gemaakt van zilver, soms van porselein; de meeste voorbeelden dateren uit de 18de eeuw. |
