Dutch ..... Keltische verdedigingsmuren uit de late ijzertijd, die over het algemeen zijn gemaakt van dikke lagen steen die bijeen worden gehouden en versterkt door een kern van houten geraamtes, aan elkaar gezet met ijzeren spijkers en bedekt met een hellende aarden borstwering. Soms met gekapte steen aan de voorkant en afgedekt met een parapet. 
German ..... Keltisches Mauerwerk der späten Eisenzeit, in der Regel aus einem Kern in Form eines mit Eisennägeln verbundenen Holzrahmens, mit Steinen gefüllt und von einem Erdwall bedeckt. Manchmal mit einer Steinfront und bekrönt durch eine Brüstung.
