Note: An anhydrous grayish-white, odorless, water-soluble powder, NA2CO3, usually obtained by the Solvay process and containing about 1 percent of impurities consisting of sulfates, chlorides, and bicarbonates. Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種無水、灰白色、無味、可溶於水的粉末,化學式為NA2CO3,通常由索耳未法(Solvay process)製成,約百分之一為硫酸鹽、氯化物和重碳酸鹽組成的雜質。用於製造玻璃、陶瓷、肥皂、紙張、石油產品,也可做為清潔劑和漂白劑,還可用於水處理過程。 
Dutch ..... Een vochtvrij grijswit, geurloos, in water oplosbaar poeder (NA2CO3), meestal verkregen via het solvayprocédé en met ongeveer 1% aan onzuiverheden die bestaan uit sulfaten, chloriden (zouten) en bicarbonaten. Het wordt gebruikt bij de vervaardiging van glas, keramische objecten, zeep, papier en petroleumproducten, en als schoonmaakmiddel, bleekmiddel en opgelost in water voor medische behandelingen. 
Spanish ..... Polvo anhidro de color blanco-grisáceo, inodoro y soluble en agua, NA2CO3, obtenido habitualmente por el proceso Solvay y que contiene aproximadamente 1 por ciento de impurezas, consistentes en sulfatos, cloruros y bicarbonatos. Se utiliza en la fabricación de vidrios, cerámicas, jabones, papel, productos del petróleo, como limpiador, blanqueador y para tratamiento del agua.
